The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

kind of a sidebar...I like the way the Kooks and Pfadts hug the body...no clearance issues on my car dropped. My driveway curb sucks, and the collectors don't drag at all.

Damn helmet came in... too effing small. Apparently a large is not enough. EXTRA LARGE is necessary. At least I know everything is in proportion... lol

A single bolt is removed and it slides in on itself, takes an extra 2 minutes.

Haha. I almost ordered a helmet online a few weeks ago. I chickened out because I had a feeling whatever I decided was best wouldn't fit. I need to find somewhere local to try them on.

Just measure around your head right above your ears and follow the manufactures recommended sizing chart. I ordered a Simpson Bandit this way, came out great. They should fit pretty snug. You don't want your helmet flopping around during an intense moment in the car.

Pretty much what I did. I was on the upper end of the size. I'm going to wait until the XL shows up. Before I send the large back. We'll see. I bought the Pyrotec Pro Sport for $199 from SoloRacer.com. It's a really nice helmet especially for the price.

What helmet do you have Brad? I had my eyes on the cheaper Bell helmet that those guys were wearing when they tumbled down the mountain in that rally race.

HOLY SHIT. Is it newb time AGAIN. I thought we just had a wave of newbs asking the same damn exhaust, CAI, and LT questions. Now here they are popping up all over again.

Had I but known it was that easy, lol!! I didn't even look at it. I get nervous when it comes to steering shafts.

Coming home from work, hit off the ramp from 195W onto 18N. Subaru behind me. Little boy wanted something. So I did a 3rd gear drop at 40 mph...just to give it a little juice. We all know I could've dropped 2nd and blasted off. 3rd gear and half throttle was good enough to get me drifting. AWESOME. But I have to give credit to 31 degree F temps and tires with 27,000 miles on them, lol!!
