Technically it's looking on the inside but if you see a bigger rear view mirror then it's the 2SS.

If you get close enough to see the heated mirrors thats one sign, but if you are that close you can see inside and see leather seats.

2SS has auto dim rear view mirror, it's bigger than the mirror on the 1SS.

but down to my point if the windows were so tinted you couldn't see leather seats etc...there is no way of telling visually from the outside between a 1ss and a 2ss
