Think that's bad. Try the 1LE Goodyear's at 35* and trying to be in any sort of hurry.

Glad I don't travel your route regularly. What's your hurry?

yep Pzeros in 32 degree or colder are going to slide pretty easy, you get up in the 40's and the engine breaths that cool air and viola, crazy responsiveness! best time to drive a car like the Camaro in 40-50 degree weather along with clean roads, IMO.

No hurry, just some jerk thinking he was gonna cut me off.... he succeeded.

So I assume that remark means you NEVER give the gas a good romp?

As far as the intersections, I live in one of the heaviest traffic areas in the country, DC Metro, if you don't go, you sit... and sit.

I was only trying to explain my experiences with the P-Zeros, not that I drive like that all the time.

My record is squeaky clean.

We had family over today and everyone wanted to go for a ride. I had no traction today on the P Zero's (36 degree's) but we had fun!

My tires feel like 4 plastic octagons when it's 30 degrees out in the mornings. They turn back into rubber round things in a couple of miles, though. All weather tires will be installed when I burn through these in a few years.

In other news, there's a 2014 Mustang add at the bottom of this thread. I don't know weather to laugh or barf, so I'll just quickly post this and leave in hopes that it goes away forever.

Go with the Michelin Pilot SS...they grip in the wet pretty good, dry roads they are like glue!
Been out on a few 50 degree days, coldest here so far, we did have three days of high 30's until noon, but for the most part its at 65 by 3pm...so no tire issues to speak of.

I drove my Camaro last year only once during bad winter weather, as the DD was in the shop. It had to be under 30F and there was slush/snow on the road and while the car wasn't any 4wheel drive beast, it handled pretty good, driving normal speeds.

I think the stories about the pzeros in the cold are a bit overstated.

Thanks! Will do! Nitto 555's grip pretty good but I hate how they feel when it's wet out!

I have PSS front and rear, 285x10x20 and 315x11x20. Anything under 40 degrees and any performance tire will harden up like a rock. Makes it very tricky if my tires get into ruts in the road. Tires width so wide that it grabs those and violently yank the car into the line lol... Kinda scary when its 26 degrees outside and your car is yanked over, knowing that they're not doing well on traction :P

However I have autocrossed these tires and wow do they grab
