Just got exhaust done - Custom Flowmaster Single Chambers

yep, with less than 200 miles the car went into the local muffler shop to do the exhaust.

I had them replace the original piping all the way to the cats with 3" then a Flowmaster single chamber on each end and stock tips.

It sounds MEAN now. Loud and MEAN. Downshifting causes awesome pops, sounds like an mg42.

Headers and cam going in soon. Will have sound clips up soon as well. Definitely not a system for the faint of heart but I love the looks of people in cars near me when I floor it.

Best part? Cost me all of $400 installed.

Mike

edit: pics/vid below

I tried it with my shitty pic cam, didnt work too good. Ill get a real camera tomorrow.

Still pics coming soon - heres the crappy vid -

You should here my 75 vette with a zz502 and sidepipes, no muffler, nothing. That one shakes the house.

Are you getting new cats with the headers or using off road pipes?

Yikes 1 chambers lol

this is a 1 chamber the link up above is a one chamber but its the delta flow technology version.....quieter and looks to be a little larger than a normal or original 1 chamber.

These are track/race mufflers they are about half the size of a 2 chamber and one sounds like a time and a half louder than a two chamber.
They are exactlly the size of a magazine that you read.

I have used them and I gotta say this is something im curious on hearing lol behind a Bigblock they are mean as hell.

If any of yall have a 99-06 Chevy Silverado or gmc with a 5.3 put 2 of these on. At normal driving they are like a delta flow 2 chamber but when you romp into it omfg can you say Tags Camaro hahahahaha my silverado has 2 one chambers on it. AGRESSIVE AS HELL at WOT on a 5.3L
