I dont even eat in my car, matter of fact i don't even buy drinks that cant be closed.(I have a M6 so driving with a open cup is literally a no go lol) so i confronted her about it in nice way annnnnnd she flipped she gave me hell about it but in the end it was mission accomplished I just like my things to last as long as possible so i care for what i have because i am thankful and i know some people dream about what we take lightly. I would think especially when we pay 20-75k for something you want it kept neat and last as long as possible. So my question is.... I'm i going way over the top or does anyone else fell the same way?

Quick story. 1989. I just got a vintage convertible muscle car. I take some friends out in it. One of them is like my brother.

My go to Burger King, and spend the day at the beach after, if I recall.

I got home, and that's when I found the burger wrappers stuffed under my seats. The guy who is like my brother did it. No harm meant, we were kids. he didn't want to toss them out on the street, he forgot they were there and left them. Ever try to get ketchup stains out of a 20 year old carpet?

But I learned a valuable lesson that day: you can sit inside when you go get fast food, because frankly nobody gives a shit about your car and they will treat it like a restaurant. If we take my car, we always are sitting inside. There is no viable reason that we must sit in the car and eat.

I guarantee my cars are cleaner inside then 95% of the Camaros on this forum.

I am not sure what the price of a car has to do with eating in it. If I had a Bentley, or a Ferrari, or a Bugatti Veyron, I sure as heck would be eating in it. Just clean/ vacuum it up if you make a mess.

Do you guys eat in your houses? I know everyone's house cost more than there Camaro and I am sure you eat in there.

No one can smoke in it though. I am good at detailing, but I can't get rid of smoke smell completely!
If you can eat in your car without making a mess, thats fine but in my car no way. if i was in someone else's car i would at least ask first but thats just me i guess.
The thing is when i was cleaning there was grease on the handle and the leather arm rest attached to the door, that alone just set me off. then the crumbs and fries!!?? to me thats like she didn't give a f*ck.
By the way this is not the reason we broke up

MY Chevy is more valuable than a hundred Bentleys: I don't own any Bentleys, but that Chevy is MINE

You know what, I wrote a long response that no one would read and so this is it...

Yes, three maybe four times on road trips. My brother once, my mom a couple of times.

What I don't like, or I won't put up with if it happens, is people getting in with filthy clothes or muddy shoes. I'll call them a cab if that happens. Generally I don't have passengers anyway. And I don't like people riding in the back because I cannot make sure they aren't scratching the back of the front seats.

when I was younger i was that anal about my cars. But after trading in 3 different cars in mint condition and getting nothing better then blue book good condition for trade I just do what i want. I just pay to have them professionally detailed once year. i wash them and spray wax them vac them out but i have stopped obsessing.

Domesticated humans can eat in my car but they were raised by a mother and a father so I don't have to worry about them.

The feral friends I have, ya know the ones who scratch their balls in public, blow their nose into their hands to play with the boogers, and wave their own farts in their face because they enjoy sniffing their anal vapor are short lived. I drive them out into the middle of nowhere and leave them for dead.
