You must have some crappy dealers around your area. I got a 2SS with stripes and lots of goodies and mine was about 35,400. With taxes and all that other crap paid around 37,000 flat.

Accordingly, I would think that you could get a 1SS for around 34,000 out the door.

Did you get the RS package? I've ordered a 1SS with Boston Acoustics and RS package, and it's true I'm getting it out the door for under 34K. I'm just curious because I was thinking switching to the 2SS so I could have the USB and bluetooth but I figured it would cost 38K out the door.

the 05 what? not sure what problems they had just talking about the current camaros. and no the 05 s197's did NOT have these many and this level of issues you can go ahead and research that if you like you will be dissapointed. not trying to go pro-mustang here but ur info is skewed

Yessir I did get the RS package. If you have a good dealer that honors MSRP, you shouldn't have a problem finding one for 38K out the door.

I guess if I need to race a camaro or anyone else who does, you better ask them have they reached the magical 1500 mile mark. You know the one that make the car go magically from 13.1~5 to 12.1's !

Or perhaps I need to ask if they have a L99 or Ls3...or maybe if they had the QC hold ones....or the under power L99 one.....Hmmm that's a lot of questions....

The only story we did not get was the one were someone bought a 30k SS with every option off Ebay....

Anyway for the OP nice garage. The GT500 btw is on the top of the rack. Right were it belongs. No reason to take a car that's he knows is already fast down. He needs that Camaro on ground level because as the thread saids...........a little disappointing.

But heh, at the 3k mark the car MAY perform as advertised......I bet the Viper and the Stang did not need that magical number though..but meh..its GM....high numbers(Bailout ! *cough* weeze*) and GM go well together.
There's two I got by simply scrolling up. Thats the real issue at hand, not my methods of quoting you. I hope you don't mind me putting emphasis on some of your words by using BOLD, as you might not understand why. I don't want to make it seem like I don't know how to use quotes to give you more fuel for dancing around the topic at hand

Just a little off topic, but I paid $48,500, out-the-door for my 2010 GT500 yesterday morning. The car only has 55 miles on it as of this afternoon, but SOTP, it feels stronger than my 2007 did when it was bone stock.

Dam. I have not been able to find a GT500 2010 down here in the MIA. The dealers I have been at all say they were bought and shiped off to Europe or S. America already. Even at 5~10k over......

Guess that's what I get for living in a area where they just ship cars straight off to other countries because those guys or gals have deep pockets !!!

I think that's Garagelogics car....

Very nice. I admired it in his Sig as well. I still want a camaro, but there is less than nothing wrong with that GT500. It's too much money for me, and I am really not a mustang guy. I guess you can say I dig it though hehe.
