I suppose if you have a 2010-11 that you'll lose the ability to lock your car from the console. I mean it's a minor inconvience but it's there.

You could probably purchase one of the non-MyLink units from someone in this thread who is planning to do the upgrade. Best bet is probably someone with a 2014 LS, since those don't come with MyLink. I would think that would give the least headaches.

Yes, that is part of the A11 X4 connecter, but the camera does not come with it.

Wanting to do a stereo upgrade but wondering if my link best way to go for head unit and sound. How is it compared to let's say a $1500 kenwood head unit? If wanting to so custom radio system with better speakers all around, amps and bass with trunk built out is my link a good choice??

First this is in a car, so you will never get all the sound out of it, like a home stereo, now to why i did this, some of us remember there was a member that made a one only unit that used the AC controls,and added a touch screen to the radio, lots of member wanted it, i wanted it and so when this came out from gm, i know i had to do it.
