Another noob question: How much does a suspension upgrade (sway bars, cradle & differential bushings, trailing arms, toe rods, etc) impact dyno numbers? Obviously if the rear of the car is solid, more power is transferred to the ground, but how much (and where in the powerband) are the numbers effected?

Those will not help your numbers at all, they will help you get better times at the track though.

No clue what it is so I quickly googled it and appears to be an additive to the oil? So this isn't something that is already mixed in with a quart of oil?

1. Yes you should stay with synthetic oil.

2. The weight of oil you should run depends on the area you live in, what type of modifications you have done to your car, and what your tuner/builder recommends. You will see a LOT of different people running different weights, so asking people on here won't help much. You have to do research and find out what oil is right for your setup.

3. There is an oil analysis thread somewhere floating around the forums that breaks down the amount of zinc in each oil that was tested. You may have better luck looking in the oil/maintenance section.

4. You can purchase zinc additive that is separate from the oil it self, or you can purchase oil that already has the zinc added to it. Just depends on your preference.

Thanks for the reply. Seems like I opened up a whole can of worm since I decided to do this cam swap...as in there is a lot i need to learn/read up on. So far Amsoil Signature Series seems to be a pretty good product.
