All coupes have large doors. If your used to a 4 door it will feel different to you as well.
Talladega Nights?

The doors on my 78 Z-28 were so heavy that I had to rebuild the drivers side hinges 2 times in 10 years.

Got bumpers on the garage walls.

Found a solution for you. You just need to have your doors modified. The pic below was from this thread.

The doors seem perfectly normal to me. Like previous generations of Camaros and most other coupes, the doors are heavy and will open with their own momentum, especially if you park on a downward slope. But they do have stops. No concerns here.

UMMM, not real sure about that one. Seems a little to high tech for my muscle car. To each his own.

His son opened his door and it swung just the way you're talking about and BAM. Steves reaction was priceless. "OH NO YOU DIDN'T SON". As hard as it hit, I expected to get to the other side to find a good sized dent. The boy had closed the door by then and we actually had to open his door slowly toward my car to see where it had hit. Right on one of the shark fin creases. We still had to get really close to see if there was any damage. It was so minimal that Steve didn't see it. I could barely see it but there is an ever so slight spot where the metal just kind of dips. No chipped paint. I didn't say anything about it but just played it off like there was no damage at all. I went back the next day to look at it and it took me a while to find it. It's sooooo slight that I even question wether it's there or not. lol

So this is nothing new to the F-Bod cars.
I got a dent on mine after two weeks, no big deal.. If it doesn't happen at home, it will happen while you're shopping for groceries..
