100% stock. IfI want to modify , customize etc. I do it on other cars.

Still completely stock here and mostly because it's a lack of money.

I am struggling with it though. I want to make some changes and then I try to tell myself it would be better to leave it stock in the long run.

I think the urge to make changes will ultimately win out eventually.

Mine is bone stock! But I have only had her two weeks....and I have already ordered new speakers because the stock ones are so terrible. Will put those in myself once it gets a little warmer out. There are other cosmetic mods I would like to do that I didn't have done factory because of cost that I will do later on. (Stripes/spoiler)

It's only "original" once

I'm a original type of guy.

My '69, along with the new yellow SSRS are original.
The 69 has just 2076 miles on it and I bought it in '74 from the dealer who ordered it. L89 ~ Turbo 400 ~ 4:88 factory ordered BX rear.

Same here, with the exception of Inferno Orange SS door kick plates to cover up a scratch - 'cause couldn't see trashing an almost perfectly good door panel.

I want to keep the car the same as Al, Scott, Disciples, and the entire Camaro team designed it. Everything was done for a reason and I don't want to disturb that. The older I get the more this is how I see things, fwiw.

Beautiful cars, but two questions:

1. Yellow front bumper stock?
2. Gauge through cowl stock?

Neither is a big deal, but as a fellow '69 owner, I am curious.

stock, right down to the wheels. reason, It's a camaro. it doesn't need any help cosmetically, and is plenty fast as it. I can settle for only being faster than 90% of what is on the road. besides, never been a "look at me, look at me" kind of person. always preferred to cruise under the radar.

Just two things. MGW shifter (cuz the stock shifter wasn't very good), and a Blendmount for the detector.

Mine is stock for several reasons.
1. I do not want to void the warranty

2. I don't think performance mods would do much for a V6

3. Most of the cosmetic mods I have seen look tacky

4. I really do not think it needs much changed from how it came from the factory. Things I would not mind changing, like the visors, there is no mod for.

5. I would rather pay the extra money towards my loan to get it paid off early.

, especially #5.

There are a lot more cars stock than some people anticipated. I'm kinda not surprised.

Remember, modding isn't cheap and many offer little return. Stock cars may be boring to some but they get their kicks through other stuff. For some people, they prioritize their funds and fun on other things like modding a house, investing in stock/bonds, children, etc. Need proof that cars are less priority to some? Check out Toyota sales.
