Road Courses and sticker

So I went with a friend of mine to a local Road Course. I had a great time although I wish I would of put the Go Pro in his car instead of me standing on the bleachers trying to shoot video. After the track day the same friend looked for a place that sold vinyl track stickers. Well as things go he purchased a couple of them and gave one to me. I had thought about putting it on immediately although I am going to wait until I lap the track (instructor free) to apply it.

This got me to thinking of the various tracks around the US and how great it would be to go to them lap them and then apply a sticker of that course.

Now to schedule time to go to my local tracks and get those off my plate. Then off to California and some of the very best tracks around.

Hey you know what would be cool is, to do the Medford GM Track... I think its called Medford not sure.

Here is hoping weather permitting that Feb. 15th I will apply my first road course vinyl!!!!

That's a cool idea. I think I spot number four to the left. If my memory serves me, my favorite track Road America. On the bike though not the Camaro.

These would be the only stickers i would put on my car. I like the idea, gotta go order a Blackhawk farm if I can find one. Looking forward to adding more.

I agree with you OP, do not put the sticker on until you yourself have lapped the track.

Cornerspeed, You should only have stickers on your car for tracks you have done, in your CAR. Granted you have been there on your bike but put those stickers on your bike. BTW just my humble opinion.

I do agree with you and Dr40oz that road America is awesome. I usually do that track at least twice a year, even in the rain. Canada Corner can be a real bitch even in a car.

That reminds me I have to order some stickers from Track Decal. I have gotten all of mine from the respective tracks and they are all different sizes and colors. Time to fix that.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

Yea, I will do the small stickers, would like to do gold though not sure. Currently have a white one of Pacific Raceway, just waiting for the weather to come around.

I would think owning a 1LE would make one want to go to a road course.

Ok I am off track on my own post... I wonder how many will actually road course their 1LE...

Anyway thanks for the replies

Everybody has their own opinions, and yours is valid as well, but to me, it's the track you have conquered, not the mode of transport. Now that being said,it has to be a high performance ride,of course a moped wouldn't count I also had Miller motorsports park made, but i wont be able to put it on til Aug

I seen this the other day on the good ole' Facebook. This company has made some really nice decorative sculptures of the different tracks. Hoping to slap at least one of these on my wall this year lol. We shall see!
