i pulled this off of your web site, is this the one that needs no tune? i dont want a tune until the power train warranty runs out (at least that's how i feel now).

does the overdrive pulley need a new belt and do you supply them? is it something i could do with a harbor freight puller?

my car has just over 19,000 miles and i am the second owner, i just got it January 3 the previous owner installed a air aid carbon fiber cold air kit, i plan on a v max lsa ported throttle body ( i have to pull the tb to make sure the previous owner did not have one on there already ) now is my car a good candidate for the over drive pulley with the cold air kit and the planned tb? what hp would you think the car would have with that combo?

i hope i gave you enough info for a informed choice, if not ask away.

thanks,
Yes you can run a 5% with No tune.

The Airaid Needs a tune though, the Rotofab Does Not.

5% and a CAI usually worth 50 RWHP or 60 Crank HP.

Hey now

Ted,

Well there is now something else to check now. The car is not showing a check engine light so there maybe a tune in it but the shifts are super soft so I don't know. The car has a automatic transmission. What would you guess the hp is if I added a ported tb to the combo.
Thanks

I am about to bump up the HP now that it's paid for. I was going to buy the no tune 75 hp kit for My zl1 with 10%pulley but I live in WA we have 92 octane. I have a SCT4416 iTSX . Does My purchase of the no tune kit qualify Me for a free tune? In case later on I decide to tune My car.

If you did not purchase the tuner from JRE but you purchase all your parts from JRE there is a small initial set up fee of 160.00

Thank You.

Ted.

See if we can get this going again, there are hundreds of JRE packages out there.

I will be chiming in soon, I getting ready to put it on the Dyno.

2012 A6
Airaid cai
V max 90mm ported tb
23% lower pulley
Dyna-tech headers
Dyna-tech super cats
Tr7ix plugs
MSD fp voltage booster
Aem A/F monitor
JRE tuned
#1 93 Oct. Street tune
#2 98 Oct. Street tune

Will dyno the 98 tune and we can just guess the 93

No additional cooling mods yet, I don't really beat on it and only some spirited driving and some 1/8 mi Pulls four or five times a year. I may do a coolant reservoir just for some added capacity.

Have your 75rwhp kit with ATI damper and 10% lower, CAI, and SCT X4 with your tune.. Went to the 1st annual Cold Air Inductions car show end of summer and they dyno'd on their machine. Dynojet numbers were 580rwhp.. Comments were made "that should squash any questions about the quality of a mail in tune".. Well be coming back for more Ted when winter hibernation is over..

I got the 125 hp kit, installed last weekend. Trying to put headers on tomorrow to complete the package.

Ted has been great with the tuning aspect of this as well as answering any and all of my many questions in a very timely matter.

Once everything is installed and the final logging is done I will make a trip to the dyno.

I'm definitely interested in your dyno number. I also ordered a JRE 125 kit at the end of last summer, only enjoyed the car for about 45 days before I put it away for winter. My plan is to add a BAP, 23% lower and torco tune for next year.

Current mods on my car from JRE
18% ati
ID 850s
Dynatech headers w/hi flow cats
Roto Fab CAI
Roto fab coolant reservoir
Tr7ix plugs
Catch Can
SCT 4

Took me a few tries to get the tune spot on cause my mass air screw was a little stripped I found out, Ted could see I had a leak somewhere on my car through the DATA Logging. He made me a believer. Car ran awesome.

Love the simplicity of his bolt on kits and how easy it is to reach 600 rwhp on a M6 ZL1.

What headers are you installing. I know my Dynatech 1 7/8 fit better than any other header I have ever installed. I'm sure Kooks and ARH are the same when it comes to fitment..

You will want to inspect your cats. Mine were nine months old when I went to 23%, BAP, and a wideband. I had mine checked, the passenger
side cat was melting out, not bad but I replaced them with the new super cats JRE has. These are huge compared the other DT hf cats. They also must flow better because my car is louder with them on.

I will take that into consideration for sure. Thanks for the heads up on the cats.

I have completed CAI, Kooks Header, Hiflow Cats, JRE Tune - This delivered 559 HP on the dyno

I am just finishing install of my 18% pulley, ID850 injector swap and MSD fuel pump voltage booster and Catch can. Will tune with JRE tune and sort things out and then dyno next spring or summer.

Mods complete! Car is in BEAST mode. Very Pleased with the updates!!!
