Waving to other 5th Gen camaro owners?

Yes I know what this thread is about, as per my previous post. Blaming non wavers on V6 owners was a little overboard. I have waved at many SS drivers that never waved back yet I never said anything negative about them... There are probably lots of reasons people don't wave, but I doubt what model they drive has anything to do with it.

If you read it correctly, he said some VA owners just don't care about the car and only bought it because it was a good deal and nothing more. He never said VA owners just don't care.

I know plenty of VA owners that love their cars more than I do my SS, but even they don't wave because they see it as a "biker exclusive."

If you read it correctly he said a majority, not some... I know the difference between the two so you should check your reading comprehension also. And you should do a spell check once in a while there is no such thing as a VA Camaro.

therefore, by this logic, a v6 owner is less likely to notice and care about other camaros.

here's me with three v6 camaros in the parking lot at my gym:


they all have basic modifications, wheels, tint, etc, which would lead me to believe they care about their car. they obviously notice other camaros, as they all parked with other camaros. proving that i do believe plenty of v6 camaro owners care about their cars.

so yeah all that to basically say, dont misinterpret my words and then try to make me look like some bad guy based off that misinterpretation

My dad's first car was a 59 Corvette, he told me about the "secret" wave they had. My summers are spent in Michigan I see a lot of bikers wave to each other on the highway. I ride a Ducati and drive a Camaro in China. Most other motorcycle riders don't acknowledge my wave (except one guy I see often on my way to work going the other way). Since I've owned my Camaro I have see exactly 2 others on the road and I think they were trying as hard as they could to look the other way! I don't get it... Still, I try to be friendly.

Lets just say nobody buys any Camaro just because it's affordable. If all they are looking for was a affordable car there are more practical choices out there. I say most if not all choose to buy a V6 Camaro in the first place is because they want a Camaro, affordability would be their next decision, remember many V6 Camaros cost as much as or more than some SS Camaros do.

I have had several Camaros and Trans Am's over the years. I just never saw the point in buying one with a V6 in it.

Now back to topic, I try and wave, give a head nod, a thumbs up or some other sign to other Camaro owners for all that i see or notice. Over all I would say 50/50 on the return seems some just may not notice! BUT! Just the other day driving down my street I see a Yellow c5 with black stripes TF edition turn the corner heading my way. As we pass it is this little old white haired lady, and she had this giant permagrin on her face as she was waving VERY enthusiastically at us! I smiled, waved back and the wife and I just start laughing and saying how cute that just was!!! That just made our day!
