Black bowtie with red outline?
I remember something like this, small, on the Cavalier Z24 in, um, '92 or '93 ... anyone know if you can buy them now aftermarket in a size to fit/match the Camaro SS one?

I had mine painted from the guy who painted my stripes on at the body shop. He said he painted it all red first, taped it and then painted the black.

I was thinking classic blue emblems would be retro and subtle. I remember several late 4th-gens doing this and it looked real nice

No, more like the outer edge is red and all the rest is black. Look at the SEMA widebody Camaro for a picture of what I mean.

Thats exactly what I have planned for mine when I get it.
I think I'll buy an extra set, paint them, then install them, front and rear.

take the emblem off, pop out the gold, scuff and paint the chrome piece red and the gold piece black, reassemble
