Well Drag Racing isn't healthy for any car but we still do it but even some of the fastest L99 cars run stock axles and transmissions and rear end into the 9s in the 1/4, How Much power will you be making? I bought my 13 for 1 reason drag race since it had 200 miles untill now 5500 miles and nothing has been broken YET and its a car that was bought for fun use only lol

I burn out in M mode and don't hold the brakes real hard.

I put 14K on my car and have 150-170 passes on it. Stock axles. But I have a few extra sets of axles around just in case.

I turn off traction and stabilitrak and use the paddle shifters. Put it in 1st, Apply brakes, start burnout, shift to 2nd around 4-5k rpm, shift to third same rpm if needed then let off the brake and roll out to stage.

Great info so far, I just wanted to check out a few questions. I read in the past that I should not let the car shift itself, is this true? Now that I am making a lot more power, I want to make sure I am not going to grenade my trans or something.

Let it shift itself in the burnout? I think it depends on how sticky a tire, and how much power you make, etc... If you leave it in A6, it might shift through all the gears fast.

BTW in your sig, it's "Rhino" not "Rhyno."

I race up at GLD a lot so maybe we can keep track of some other serious-minded guys and head up together a few times this year.
