I've had a couple strange ones.
It was sitting in a restaurant parking lot, I was in the restaurant. 4 High school football players walking by, the saw the car, put down their gear and helmets, gathered around my car and took pictures. I was on my way out to tell them no touching, but they never did touch it. Some of them also took selfies with the car in the background.
The other strange one was on Highway 401 on my way home, so just west of Kingston. A couple in a 4th gen passed me taking pictures. Honked, waved, slowed down taking video of me passing them. Then passed me again, got in front and slowed down, so she got pics of me close on their bumper.
This got real annoying. It was getting dangerous. I passed and lost them in traffic.

Mostly I get good comments from people who appreciate cars, some just yell out 'nice car' as they go by.
others don't even notice.

P.S. forgot to mention my wife drives it too, and she gets noticed. One couple walking by, the lady had to drag the guy away, he was gawking at 2 chics (wife and daughter) in the ZL1.

I have had more than one person ask me if it's "like a super sport".

It might be a clone,but it looks better than some of the Zl1's i have seen, That really has to be one of the best colors i think i have seen on a Zl1 body..Great looking,and if GM ever had a color to add that would be it...

I get more attention when I'm in my deuce and a quarter, but then it's 25 feet long. Very few people know what it really is and thats fine with me.

What happens the most is picture taking,I can not count how many times i have had people take pictures with the car...I even have had some people follow me and ask if i would pull over to take pic's...
I can not go anyway without someone asking either question's,taking pictures or asking for rides....
I park in a garage ,and every other time i go out to start the high school kids come running, to either listen,watch or ask for a ride...

But most some how cant believe someone with a disability as bad as mine can even drive it,The 2 guys that work at the gas station who used to take forever to come pump my gas,mo longer do. When i show up with the Zl1,it's funny how fast they come out to help pump my gas...

The only down side is that there are so many people always wanting to come up to the car,that I worry about getting car jacked,After someone open my door out of the blue.So I have started putting my Texas right to carry to good use...I just hope I never have to ever use a weapon to protect myself or anyone else ever again...

nope,thought it was about the attention the Car brings to everyone in their travels..But I guess it's only about what you approve of to be the correct content on the forum...Or is that just how you see yourself above all others....
