I traded it for a 2011 Camaro SS, which I then upgraded to a 1LE! No regrets, but I don't hesitate driving a MS3 when I get the chance.

Oh ok awesome ya I love the 1LE is my favorite camaro for the price. So you think for a four door car you would defiantly recommend it?

Absolutely. I'm waiting see how they transform the new Mazda3 into their Mazdaspeed line. I think it will be impressive!

Ya I mite be going to a 4 door car in a year or 2 and was considering it along with the Subaru wrx. I didn't know they where making a new mazdaspeed3 with the new generation they just came out with. I'm interested to see how it will turn out then.

I had a mazdaspeed 3 try to race me apparently he never heard my bypass open. either way it was funny by the time he tracked me down all he said was "what the F@#%, is that thing" lol. it's strange i honestly thought those would pull a lot harder against a v6 camaro

well i can tell you that from a roll against an SS the Mazdaspeed 3 is a joke lol. but against a V6? might be a pretty good race.

If he is tuned, he will probably pull you by a little bit. If he still has the stock tune it should be a drivers race.

Best regards,

Well were going to do a 1/8 at the drag strip and he is going to have by then CAI, axle-back exhaust, rear motor mount, and a upgraded fuel injector and will flash a stage 1 tune with all that. So I'm hoping I can be him in the 1/8 before he can catch up to me.

Trading my 2008 for a factory order loaded 2SS/RS convertible next month. It's been a great 5 1/2 years. Mazda needs to make the next Gen MS RWD. The FWD ultimately is very limiting.

Traded in my 2010 Speed3 for my Camaro here. Had a CAI, motor mounts, downpipe and testpipe and a Cobb accessport. Was looking at either taking that along, which meant fuel pump needed now, or going with the car I always wanted. Talked my wife into 2 doors and here I am. Still miss the handling, but love the Camaro.

As for a V6 camaro vs. Speed 3 race, well your best bet I think has already been said and that is the start. Other thing I would say is a shallow torque curve, hitting your shifts right is crucial (big part of why I got the accessport). Those cars are challenging, but fun to launch (especially when you get your CPU to not cut back on boost in 1st and 2nd).

I never understood the torque steer complaint. Sure a FWD SI or GTI doesn't have it, they also don't have that extra 80 torque.

^^^ This.

Go trade in your V6 and get a 1LE or ZL1 of the same colour and remove the badges. After you blow him away you can chuckle to yourself and drag it out for ages and tell him all V6 Camaros go like this.

I traded my 2011 Speed 3 for mine. They are fun little cars. Wish I could have kept it.
