Just did that on my 2010 and it worked the first time I did it. I let the air out for 10 seconds and waited 30 seconds after that for each wheel and it worked perfectly.

just read my 2014 2LT RS manual; relearn tool is REQUIRED; there is no manual option as pointed out in a FEW posts here.

*oops dummy me this is 5 pages later :P

Agh ok now I read the whole thread; I saw someone mention all they had to do was drive over 20mph and it relearned on its own, this is how my Honda Ridgeline TPMS works as well.

I tried going to that link for the GM relearn tool; it doesn't work FYI

I ordered the 19.99 reset tool from Tirerack. The Camaro isnt listed but I thought it was worth a shot for that price. I will let folks know if it works.

I noticed the other day that the link for the tool didn't work as I was going to look up to see what they cost. I think the driving it over 20 or 30 MPH or whatever it takes I thought I read it was for waking up a new TPMS valve stem but I could be wrong. Since the late 2011 owners manual and up it says you need the tool. Since you have a 2014 it would be worth a shot to try it without the tool before you take it in and spend cash to have it done. My 2012 does not have the question in the menu but when you are on the TPMS menu showing pressures just hold the button on the end of the blinker in and the question will pop up asking if you want to start the procedure. Same thing the dealer would have to do with the tool.

Dean.

Dean, that makes sense; otherwise the tool would have to initiate the relearn on its own so the feature ought to be still in the 2014 but who knows I'll let you all know then.

I tried letting air out for 10 seconds and waiting, but nothing ever happened. I took it to my local Chevy dealer and they first said $45, After I told her that I was told $25, she said ok. It was done with a recall for the airbags in about 15 min and she said, no charge....SWEEETTT...love my local dealer.

I got the 19.99 TPMS relearn tool from tirerack and it did work on my 2013 ZL1. It does not list Camaro at all, but I chose 2009 Cadillac CTS and wa la, it worked like a charm. Well worth 20 bucks.

Was the relearn tool you bought from Tire Rack called "Cub TPMS Trigger Tool"?

I bought a set of rims off a 14 SS for my 2012 Camaro. I tried doing the manual method but it wouldn't work. Maybe because I was using new sensors? I used my Snap on solus scanner and snap on tpms tool. At first they refused to train. Then it asked for the magnet. Still would train. On my 3rd attempted the tpms tool went through its 5 steps then asked for the magnet. After introducing the magnet I then restarted the trigger process (it didn't say to do this) then the sensors trained as they should. I would say if using new sensors it requires the tpms tool and training magnet.
