My SS is over 4 years old now, still smells new with 30k miles. Not my daily driver but it is definitely a rush every time i get in it.

D/D. 4600 in a year. I work in city I live in. Some times hafta take a long ride down Rt. 3 or 95 just to listen to O&A, or ya know, to wind it out a little. Always at the speed limit, of course!

This was a tough decision. I almost kept my Monte Carlo as a winter beater. Traded it in because the extra car adds up to extra maintenance costs, extra inspection/emissions, extra registration, extra car blocking the garage where the Camaro is kept, extra insurance payment....and a partridge in a pear tree. Less hassle and more $$$ in your pocket with winterizing the Camaro.

Wait just one minute, back up the truck.... what were we talking about again?
My motto is when your a garage queen drive it like you stole it when time and weather permits. But my issue is living in Chicagoland area with Pzeros your not supposed to drive in cold weather. Even when I have taken it out, in 45 to 50 degree weather it seems like I'm driving on the rims, and I only have 1499 miles. Now if this was the only car I had, I would invest in all season tires. I salute the people in my area that drive year round, I say go for it, but use good judgment! I remember on this forum a guy slid into a dumpster in his work parking lot when winter began this year because he didn't see the black ICE, and I want to say it was a 1le, either way, that just made me sick, and exactly what I mean when I say use good judgment. |

102ss, it's not the only car I have, and I said I would invest in the all seasons if it was the only car in the stable. I hear you and I understand! Drive em as much as you can!

You guys probably wouldn't believe it but I was looking at a Corvette forum last night about the new c7 and there are posts on there about using the Vette as a daily driver and also people posting pics of driving them in the snow and posting links to snow/seasonal tire sets. Didn't think that car would be drivable in the snow or that people would even do it but they do, lol. I did see a last gen Vette at the local store when it still was slushy outside, heh. Glad I have a work truck here at home as I just hate the idea of salt on the undercarriage more than anything....

Every ride is a joy ride when you drive a Camaro. No matter where you are going its just more enjoyable. No matter what model you drive, make the most of every day. You never know what tomorrow will bring.
