Anyone else have issues with their...pads

I took my car to the dealer to see what they could tell me why my car has a nasty brake squeal. They told me they wouldn't be able to give me a definitive answer until i put oem pads back on there. They told me what could be causing the problem is that the autozone pads that I have been putting on there are much more thicker than the OEM pads.


With that in mind, do you think pads too thick don't get fully released off of the rotor causing the rotor to constantly be heating up which results in the glazing of the rotor because of excessive heat, which in turn causes the brakes to squeal when slowing down the hotter the rotor gets?
