Mike, that sounds about right. My car made it to 3800 on May 22. It didn't get here until about 2 weeks ago. So mine took roughly 1 1/2 months to get here.

yup first one.... i ordered a stick (autos had no issues) and my car was picked for QC (quality control) and i think its 1 of 12 cars still held over for some issues.... due out within a couple of weeks.... it may be out any day now but really hard to get exact info on it.... i guess I'm the "lucky" one....

if i ordered an auto it would have been the first one here..... i do have a low VIN 9585

Wow, I liked the red that you bought! I think they mentioned that the plates are in and they are setting up transport via Young Brothers this week. They were saying that alot of people wanted to buy the camaro after they saw them.

I dont know if you heard, but the V6 camaro at Leeward Servco was sold to JN Chevy and they sold it a week later with a large markup. They have already been trying to purchase the Yellow V6 at Windward, but they wont sell it to JN. JN must be making a killing buying the ones on island and reselling them at a high markup.

By the way, the seat does adjust to raise it higher for folks who are a little bit on the shorter size. My girlfriend in 5 foot 2 inches and she can see fine after raising the seat.

Its kinda interesting is that I have more blindspots in my BMW X5 than I do in the camaro.

Only thing I had to get used to is the large rear view mirror. I cuts out alot of the front window view. After a while, you get used to it.

Finally saw my first camaro on the road. Both were near the Subway in Pearl Harbor. Both were black, with paper plates and difference is one was from cutter and the other from JN.

The good thing is that we have our orders in, regardless of when they come in we know ours are somewhere along the way to being done.

I hope that you'll get a call from Mike really soon, or you find that your Camaro is on it's way to the island. I personally don't mind the wait, because I'd like to put as much down as possible so I can have a relatively low payment so I can upgrade the exhaust and headers.
Do you know what type of exhaust and headers your upgrading to? I am planning on upgrading in the near future. Right now I am leaving it as is until i make a final decision on what I am getting.

There's a possibility that there are 2010 Camaro/s on the Big Island. Possibly for rental? My friend just told me he saw it a week ago. I'm hoping it's true. I'm going to do a little investigating. Also it seems like the Hilo Chevy dealership is open for service? However, there are 2 Corvettes in the showroom. But no cars in front of the dealership. That place was totally empty not too long ago, including the service area.

Mike, good to see you got your car. Jon were you able to pick up your car yet? You're both going to have so much fun with the attention you get. I've had my car for 2 weeks now and I still have people that live near me wanting to talk about the car. On the road I see people looking and pointing. It's so much fun.
