The RS Package consists of the following.

RS Appearance Package
(available with LT and SS) –
HID headlamps,
spoiler on LT model,
20-inch 5-spoke wheel with Midnight Silver paint finish (Polished Optional for an additional Charge),
RS unique taillamp,
body-color roof ditch molding
and RS badging (front and rear)

Everything can be added by itself the hardest one do is the body-color roof ditch molding.

Buying a (highly) modded vehicle can be a real "crap shoot" unless you really know your way around a car and / or have the necessary money to get potential problems fixed.

If you have the vehicle's VIN, you can take it to a Chevy / GM service dept. and they should be able to print a build sheet for you - or, there's a recent thread in this forum where one of our forum members is offering to provide build sheets for folks if you provide him with the VIN.

I know what you mean I don't think it was modded much mechanically just the taillights are smoked, the spoiler is painted black and there are no RS badges. He might of changed the exhaust cause is sounds pretty good . Other than that it seems pretty stock . Being from MD I might have to get rid of the smoked taillights to pass MD inspection other than that I should be good. thanks for the help

I'm also planning on purchasing a 2014 2LT/RS auto. I've been reading a bunch of car buying guides, and one of them suggested offering 3%-5% more than the dealer paid (then add destination charge). If I'm doing that, would I use the dealer price or the dealer invoice price? My math using the dealer price:

$26,928 2LT
$1,402 RS for 2LT
$1,007 Auto

Total = $29,337
3% = $880
Offer price = $30,217

I would then subtract discounts such as customer cash, private offer, etc. Does this sound right?

As long as you have all the options added in there, your logic sounds perfect to me. Good Luck!!

New Camaro5 owner here... Just purchased a New 2013 2LT/RS Coupe for $500 below dealer invoice yesterday (4/7):

Invoice Shows:
MSRP........ - Inv Amt
$28,685.00 - $27,537.61 - 1EH37 Camaro 2LT Coupe
$....325.00 - $.....286.00 - GBE Crystal Red Metallic Tintcoat
$...........00 - $...........00 - LFX Engine 3.6L, SIDI V6
$.1,185.00 - $.1,042.80 - MX0 Transmission, 6 Spd Automatic
$.1,375.00 - $.1,210.00 - WRS RS Package
$....150.00 - $....132.00 - ZCZ Wheel & Tire, Spare, Compact (Replaces Tire Sealant Kit)
======= - =======
$31,720.00 - $30.208.41
$....900.00 - $....900.00 - Destination Charge
$...........00 - $....317.20 - Dealer IMR Contribution
======= - =======
$32,620.00 - $31,425.61 - Total

$31,425.61 - Dealer Invoice
$(...500.00) - Dealer offered $500 below invoice
$30,925.61
$(1,000.00) - GM Camaro Bonus Cash (dealer said it's looked up by VIN#)
$(2,000.00) - GM Consumer Cash
=======
$27,925.61

That (plus tax, tag, reg) would have been the price I paid with 8.1% interest through a finance company. However, the finance guy continued searching and was able to get me 0% through GM Financing, but lost the $2,000 Consumer Cash (guess that's where they make their money with 0%). So I paid:

$30,925.61 - Price $500 below invoice
$(3,000.00) - Trade-In
$....699.00 - Dealer Fee
$.1,717.47 - 6% Tax on above total
$(1,000.00) - GM Camaro Bonus Cash (taken off after taxation)
$....250.00 - Registration fees
$....101.75 - State Doc fees
$(3,000.00) - Down payment
========
$26,693.83 - Amount financed (at 0%)

Payment is $371/month.

I'm actually moving up my purchase date to end of June since it's end of quarter and wouldn't the 2015's be announced by then?

One question on options if anyone knows. If it is dealer installed, say something like floormats, can I opt out of that if I want? I did some inventory checking and all of the 2LT/RS Camaros in the colors I want typically have the overpriced floor and cargo mats.
