We have made zero changes to the Pfadt specs. No need to mess with such a well engineered set up. 210 front and 395 rear.

Being a noob to this does changing the springs to ones like Apex now offers require a realignment or any other work?

Yes. You must have the car aligned after you change ride height.

Do you think I would experience rubbing issues if I'm running a Wheel/Tire combo of 275/40/20's all around on the Apex lowering springs?

I'm looking to get lowering springs in the somewhat near future.

Guys, one comment about lowering springs: When I had the coilovers installed initially, we dropped the car 7/8" front and 1-1/2" rear. Pete got on the phone with the shop and suggested they raise it up for optimal suspension geometry and handling. So I ended up with 1/2" drop front, 1" drop rear. Pete knows his stuff, so that's what I went with. It's working very well at the track. I get the rest of my drop by running 18's, which are 2.6" diameter smaller than the stock tires. So with that extra 1.3" drop, my total drop at the track is 1.8" front and 2.3" rear.

I'm not sure about peddersusa existence however, Rob @ Wretchedmotors https://www.wretched.co/ has excellent knowledge of the Peddlers goodies and would be the one to talk to. He helped me gather some of my peddler gear. He is also a sponsor here on c5.

The ride is firmer which one would expect but the overall look is insane. Ride quaility is not sacrificed IMHO

Hey so I'm looking to track my 1LE a good bit and I like the low look. Has anyone with the stock wheel and tire setup made this change and taken it to the track yet. I see Orange Crush 1LE tracked his but changed the wheel and tire setup. I want to do 1 inch all the way around. Any info is appreciated.

I installed 1" BMR lowering springs two months after purchase. Six months later and no issues with ride or handling.

How much more pounds of compression do you want out of springs than stock? I just noticed that Detroit Speed rates their fronts to 220 lbs and rears to 425 lbs. Worth it or overkill compared to PFADT/Apex?

Also, give Orange Crush's comment and Kayer32's question, if you lower 1.25" all around on stock shocks, then what? Will the car's handling be compromised? I wonder why Chevy didn't lower the cars from the factory design? Any ideas?
