Is there a kit for the side marker lights and reverse lights to also black them out? The "complete set" for $189 has 8 pieces (2 fog, 2 headlight and 4 tail lights). Thanks!

Here's the response I got from GTS / Xenon:

"The HID type of light creates alot of heat which could warp our headlight cover. You can use our cover for show or off road use without the lights on.
Hope this helps you.

At least we know understand why the disclaimer...

are there any pictures of the brake lights on with the covers on during the day? I'm wondering if they could be a liability problem if someone hits you in the back and says they couldn't see the taillights

watch out for these defender workx guys... this is the second case i heard of them grossly over pricing, and then one someone complains they lower the price. i heard of a guy complaining about the ss chrome symbols being way over priced by them and they lowered them to 70 dollars, from more than double that

No one needs to watch out for the those Defenderworx Guys. I was given the pricing direct from GT styling and then posted it. They were unaware that SFX was selling their products for that price. We lowered our price to theirs until SFX adjust to the correct price. You will see the price change. We thought our price was at MAP pricing. We are not in business to gouge anyone but we are in business to make some money.

Thank You

Agreed. The whole aftermarket parts industry is a big mess, I've been in it for years and can't stand it anymore. Getting accurate pricing and stock from manufacturers is the biggest pain in the ass in this industry... but that's a story for a whole other topic.

Please understand I`m NOT trying to step on or being critical of this product, just be aware that depending on the time of day and the angle of the sun the blacked out tail lights may be difficult if not impossible to see when your brake lights come on, I nearly found out the hard way when I use to own a 83 Z28 with a black out kit and the person behind me could not see my brake lights when I braked hard, a loud screech of rubber and a slight nudge in rear was all that happened, the person who hit me said she didn`t see my brake lights come on and when she realized that I was stopping it was nearly too late. I had my friend who was with me at the time step on the brakes, she was right, I could not even see the brake lights because of the sun reflecting off the black out lens.

Edit; Oh crap!, I left out the word "not" between "I`m and "trying", changed the whole meaning, very sorry.

Unfortunately GT Styling said they were no longer going to make the side markers, however we are going to take the ones we have and work on re-creating them so then we can offer them since they are in such high demand at the moment!

Our prices for the SS badges still are not $70, I'm sorry but all of our pieces are machined from 6160 Aircraft Grade Aluminum Billet and we simply couldn't afford to sell them that cheap. I'm sure if you are interested in products like that you could definitely find a cheaper quality for a lesser price. And once again sorry for the misunderstanding about the headlight and taillight covers.
