I haven't seen any of the ProChargers/Vortec's/Paxton's get the exemption from CARB, but I haven't looked lately. They were bitching about the Intakes, but maybe they fixed their stupidity.

The tuner kits do not qualify for the CARB exemption (sticker) because they do not use the tune/pulley etc that was used to get the exemption. This state extorts money like a champ so if the companies don't submit a car in exact ally the same form as what the kit sells for, they won't give it the exemption.

Really? I thought the cam wouldnt make you pass the sniffer test? And yeah man youll never really be happy with a set HP lol always wanting more. But nice thats good to know I didnt even know that, thought I was gunna get away with the cheaper version than the one that comes with all that. Would be cool if I could buy the sticker from someone who won't need it lol

Newer cars don't do the sniffer test anymore. If you pass the visual and can pass the OBD II tests, you are good. It takes a pretty aggressive cam with a lot of overlap to fail the sniffer test.
