Thumbs down Listen to this mitsubishi dealership....

Saw a used ls camaro in the parking lot of a mitsubishi dealership so later I called them and found out how much they were selling it for. 37,000! Like wtf does he even know what the msrp on this is. He said the ss would run me about 50 k. When I get my camaro which is a 1lt with an rs package im going to run by there and tell him how much I paid. Im going to be pissed if someone ends up buying it. This is getting ridiculous. He said "it has very low mileage." He didnt even know what it was called. He said there was the ss, rs, and then another camaro below it. Sorry for the rant but this dude pissed me off.

Whats the big deal? it is a used car and not even sold by a Chevy dealership. It is basic supply and demand, if no one comes around and pays it they will lower it. When you sell something don't you try to get the most money you can? When I put something up on eBay, I am not thinking hmmmm what would be a nice fair price for consumers out there. I research how much people will be willing to pay for the item.

Yea they should sell GM cars. Cause Mitsubishi has probably the worst resell value of any manufacturer. Would not be surpised to see them pull out of North American eventually if they can't models that sell. They sold only 68 US made eclipses I think last month.

Yea it's not that they don't make a good car. They do. It's the fierce competition out there.

It would be sad for them to close US production they have been making cars here since the old Eagle talon and P Laser days.

Problem of this is (in my opinion), (us) European demand, because Chevrolet has forbidden export them and actually they are (Chevy) signing by contract with the customer who buy the new one that he is not allowed for export this unit.

Yesterday I was talking with the spanish partner in Miami looking for the car and told me that about the contract and actually only we can import used cars.

Reason of this Chevy politicy is that they don't want sell Camaro from US because they will sell it in Europe, but Chevy Spain has told that in the first 6 months of 2010 Camaro will not been sell in Europe.

For 2LT for example one dealer in US bought it used at 32500 $ and they are actually auctioning it.

I am from Spain and I am crazy (and 3 or 4 companies here + 1 in UK + 1 in Germany) looking for one at reasonable price (33000 EUR here aprox)

I don't want to hurt your feelings, but used Camaros are being sold in France for the outrageous price of 75,000 Euros, around $108,000 US dollars. Good luck finding a well-priced Camaro in Spain, it ain't going to happen. I know how the Spanish government works (I was born in Barcelona, Spain) regarding import car's bureaucracy and abusive taxes/tariffs.

I have some quotations for 1LT of 33000 to 37000 EUR (final price in Spain, ready to drive)

But I think 75000 EUR it's incredible!!

I was referring to the 2SS model. However, and according to the V8's price, 1LTs shouldn't be too far in price:

Anyways, 37000 Euros sounds waaaay more reasonable

Saludos

Yep, prices starting at 55000 Euros, probably for the 1LT. Check the bottom of that webpage.
