In my home town you can buy a house for the price of a Camaro. When I first got my car my family gave me hell saying I should have purchased a house instead.

The houses are not half bad either. Old but most are in nice shape.

You beat me to it.

It all depends where you are buying.

By the time you are done with mods. Yes, a house is cheaper.

A lot of people like to play the "Check out the fancy car I Own" game. It's called a lease and no you don't "own" the car, you rent it. Lol Leasing is a good option for a lot of people and I am not knocking it, just not for me. Some people would live in a shack as long as they have things to show off to people. Having your priorities is what's important. Look online for deals around your way. I picked up my 2010 2LT/RS for under 25k in Oct 2013 with 350 miles on it. Yes 350 miles. Don't blow your budget on a car that will require money to maintain it.

What I want to know is why the hell you have a drive through at a liquor store? If people need alcohol that bad, they can get out of the car and walk to get it. Sounds like that guy was more like Jabba the Hut and should be looking at Astro Vans

Average price for a NEW good car w/ some options these days is upper $20's. Considering I paid ~$35k for my 2SS Camaro brand spanking NEW, I'm only what? $6-8k above average. That's not bad at all, especially as I plan to hold on to it for at least 10+ years, definitely as long as possible if not my whole life.

Some people have different priorities in life, some like to travel, some like to spoil their kids, others like to buy cars. I fall in the latter, I don't have any kids to spoil, I travel every now and again but nothing expensive, and I am obsessed with CARS. By no means am I rich, I just sacrifice in other areas for the Camaro.

Amen brutha =)

I always say, see that minivan over there, I paid less for my Camaro than that minivan costs. People assume since it looks good, has a big engine that it is expensive. The previous car I had was a Pontiac G8 GT, I paid $25k for it new, literally off the showroom floor. My co-worker then said, I paid more than that for my Camry!!!

The expensive car in our house is my wife's 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk.

A lot of people come from out of state and say the same thing. Texas laws are strict when it comes to alcohol and you can only sell 10am-9pm Monday through Saturday. Closed Sundays. People see this as an inconvenience so any convenience factor brings business. Business is money. Whatever works.

Yeah, seriosly. I've got a house just outside of Detroit that I'll be renting out forever because I can't afford to sell it.

Do you want to buy it LBreezie? What kind of Camaro do you have? Maybe we could do a trade.
