Looks like 4 stars for front driver & passenger, 5 stars side driver and 5 star rollover. Only thing not rated yet is rear passenger.

Go to www.safercar.gov to see results and watch videos of Camaro's being destroyed!

Pretty dissapointing ... no new car these days should ever recieve anything under 5 star IMO ..

I thought it would get 5 stars as well with the extra weight they added to conform to new standards. but at least the rest of the stuff is up to par.

Hmm, ya that's too bad, was expecing all 5's, one of the main reasons I ordered it was a much safer car than my convertable vette. :(

Wonder what the difference from 4 to 5 is and what caused it to get the 4. Will have to read more when not @ work.

4 stars= 11% to 20% chance of serious injury
3 stars= 21% to 35% chance of serious injury
2 stars= 36% to 45% chance of serious injury
1 stars= 46% or greater chance of serious injury

I too am a bit disappointed. above is the details from their website on the star ratings.

Iam disappointed also , man .

Its not hard to get 5 stars from http://www.safercar.gov/ , Wait untill IIHS.org gets a hold of it there crash test have higher standers .

ie
Wifes old 2006 Grand Cherokee had 5 stars(highest rating) side impact from safercar.gov

IIHS.org gave it the 2nd LOWEST rating it has even WITH side air bags .
