That sounds promising! I couldn't find any numbers yet on their website, but I'll definitely keep an eye on that.

We are just wrapping up our first L99 cam install right now, the black spacer is the only thing used in the kit, the rest of the components are tools used to install it.

I did headers and converter at the same time, so yeah its way faster.. just waiting to get to the track and see, don't have much time these days. The converter will show less power on the dyno, so dyno #'s don't mean much after a converter is installed, best is to tune the car for air/fuel and transmision... and then go to the track.
So its all tuned and ready to go, just when I get a chance

Yes it will void your warranty. Your removing internals from the motor and replacing them with aftermarket parts that are designed to be more violent on the valve train. So yes warranty voided because you (not gm) opened up the motor and because you (not gm) replaced a major engine component with an aftermarket part.

Glad you did, If I go this route I'm just going to do a cam and get rid of the vvt swap out cam/phaser. I'd like to make my L99 as close to a LS3 as I can, not changing pistons but the cam is on the to do list.

Has Comp published the gains they've been able to produce on the L99? I didn't see anything on their website.

if you are going to do that, swap out the lifters at the same time as half of the lifters in the L99 are different than the LS3 lifters. check my Cam info sticky for a couple pictures of the L99 lifter

I read in a article Comp Cams man said that they got a 70HP increase with a "cam only" change on the L92 6.2L truck engine. Stock was 400HP, 430 with headers and 500HP (engine dyno) with the largest one. Smaller cam had a 60HP gain the best I remember. VVT technology looks very promising.
