I just dynoed mine and it put down 319rwhp twice then we pulled the pcm fuse for it to forget the LTFT (Long Term Fuel Trims)Engine had more heatsoak than the first two and it put down 327rwhp...Let me tell you picking up 8rwhp by doing that, this computer has a serious nanny program. The trans tune alone is going to be awesome. It really woke up my A6 Vette. I`m putting ARH headers on it tomorrow and as soon as the Vararam is ready that will go on and I will get it tuned. So have faith o L99 bretheren...Lol..

If you get a good tuner to tune your Engine and your Transmission you will see a huge difference.....

The Transmission tune on the auto is HUGE.......

On my way home I stopped at a little spot I know about. It's on private land and a dead end road (absolutely no cars, buildings, houses, or people of any kind) where new construction is going to began once they get approval to start.

My car, engine, and tires were hot. It was also 3pm in S. Florida (steamy outside).

Here's a little taste. This was a quick jump in the car, put in M (sport mode -TC off) and mash the gas. I had to go fast because the video camera kept dying on me.

No, just me (its a real isolated spot). There were a few cows near by, buts that's about it.

I actually did several more launches after that just for fun. I finally decided to stop because my car/engine got really hot. I kept checking my GMPP axle back tips to make sure they werent melting anything.

Wish my car would do that. By this time next month, I will be happy with my car one way or the other.

You could call Jeremy Formato at www.fastertunes.net and find out exactly what he did.
The shifts are firm, fast, and crisp. No more mushy, soft, slow shifts.
Nice!!!

The L99 that I had for a month was very slow, after 3 trips to the dealer, GM stuck their head in the sand and said that nothing was wrong. The dealer said it was VERY slow and reccomended a replacement, but GM said it was JUST FINE which was TOTAL BULLSHEEET. I sold the car. I serously believe that it is the norm to get a slow L99 and a rareity to get a good one. Only people who drive the car hard or that have had performance cars previously would know the difference. My L99 was much slower then the 2005 GTO that I traded in. Unless you plan on serious modification and voiding your warrentee I would stay away from the L99, its a real dog.

Sounds like your car is right on if you did not clear the L trims like i did on the 3rd pull. With it being hotter where you are than Va, perhpas you are seeing the computer nanny interfere more when you have raced your wife. Try pulling the ecm fuses or disconnecting you battery and then running her before the car gets hot. I bet you see a difference from when you ran her last. A tune will most likely fix this for you and me.
