kinpin, while you're at it, I would highly recommend buying a set of splitter washers from Skylane765. These will save your splitter from bottoming out on driveway/road transistions and such. They've saved mine.

RPI. Makes some nice ones I put on mine. Used the two factory screws and some double sided tape.

I'm looking for something much better.
These ones catch and hold all the sand and gravel between the wheel well and the rock guard. This sand and gravel behind the rock guard pushes it forward, bending it away from the rocker, catch more sand and gravel.
I have to take out the screws to clean behind it, every time I detail the car. Plus, they are not big enough. My side gills are chip from gravel.
It's painfully Obvious the guy who made them, never used them.

I'm searching for the thread with the bigger rock guards, made by a guy with a ZL1.
I am one of the guys that made some bigger ones and I like them. Did them bigger and then did a second time even bigger. I also added a second layer of plastic in the area in front of the rocker to help with the sand getting stuck back there.

Here is some info.

You need clear bra on your grill area.

I bought them through ebay:

More information available there than on that website.

+1
I got these exact ones from eBay as well. Fast shipping and even came with instructions, obviously it was self explanatory though. Used factory location holes and clips to secure the upper part. Way easy install and very happy so far.
Haven't seen the need for the double sided 3m tape, yet anyways!

Where are you putting the tape, just the upper portion of the flap?

I bought the front mud guards from RPI. They look great!

Just don't bother with the metal clips; use 3M double-sided tape for the part that doesn't screw down.

Here are pics of my flaps I paid $12 for at Advance Auto. They are a full flap and not a little decoration that will only stop 2 rocks out of 10 from hitting my quarter panel. I've got 3000 miles on my car and not 1 rock chip. They are set out far enough and low enough to stop every rock that these sticky tires pick up. I used the 2 factory rocker screws and 3M tape up the fender. I ran into a guy at a car show this weekend and he complained about his quarter that was hammered with rock chips. Told him to install the flaps, he said he wouldn't dare put flaps on the front cause the way it looks. I know which I'd rather live with. They're not for everyone but my theory is function before beauty in this case. IMO that is
