Just ordered my Apex Catch Can. Thanks for the upgrade on the fittings and free shipping.

I really wanted the black braided hoses but I can't justify $80 for hoses.... Wow.

Can't wait to get it installed.

catch can

Got a 11' ss w/ 30k miles in the past few months that i've owned it put on cai, long tube headers, flow masters, washer fluid removal, tuned, and just put 100 shot of nos. Semi daily driver and 1/4 mile every now and then. What would be a good catch can that I could install myself and fairly reasonable priced.

Do it right and do it once. Go with the Apex catch can.

Ok...So I've kind of ignored this subject...I've got 28k on my 2012 LS3 and never a catch can.

So...If I get one now, is there a way to clean off the build up.

Also, at idle there is an occasional stumble. Is that due to this build up?

Apex catch can installed. Very easy installation. Would have been really fast if not for a small SNAFU on some missing hose. Quick phone call and an answer and tada:

You can take it to your dealer for an upper induction cleaning prior to installing the catch can. Hard to say. It is possible though.

Would you suggest that over using Seafoam to clean it ourselves?

Depending on the dealer they may actually do a more in depth cleaning.

Got my catch can installed. I will say that if I can do this myself, then most anyone else can do it too. Very easy. (minus disconnecting some of the fittings.)

One thing that would've made me a little more confident would be if there was a picture in the instructions that shows hose X connects from the upper port to spot X on the catch can, etc. I second guess myself a lot and read that part of the instructions several times just to be certain.
