imo 22's are overkill...this is a muscle car we're talking about not an escalade LOL...

Seriously, i'm considering downgrading to some black cast 19's to improve overall performance...

Yes, and all your wheel choices you posted will make your car look ghetto. Just my two cents though

Not sure. With the right wheel choice and maybe some suspension work it could look very good.

It depends on the wheel style and quality you go with. None of those you posted are anything I'd put on a car. Those are SUV wheels and look cheaply made.

I had a lot of doubtful people about 22s see my car in person at a shop gathering yesterday, and none of them disliked the size once they saw it in person.

I've got some good pricing going on for some forged wheels, not that cast Chinese junk.

Man I'm tired of everyone calling big rims ghetto- gets real tiring after a while.

Depends on the type of wheel. Some rims have designs that make the rim look bigger than it actually is and it turns out.....fugly. I think Camaros look great with big wheels, but I say 22 is the max. anything over 22 is really nasty. Anything over 22 should be limited to SUV's or those Box Chevies that look great with em.

did i go off topic? my point is- no, 22's are fine imo

They're good for show, but not for performance.

And if you ask just about anyone around here, they'll opt for performance.

Big rims aren't ghetto. If someone lives in the ghetto and has nice shiny brite big rims on their car, then it's GHETTO FABULOUS. 'Cause they'd rather put rims on their car than save their money and move outta the ghetto.

Im going 20s front 22s rear and coil over suspension. Using forged billet rims of that size will still be lighter than the stock cast 20s so wont be loosing power.

If i had the money I'd airbag the suspension, 22s front and 24s rear.

You also have to be concerned with where the weight is now located. The taller wheels move the weight out further from the center. That takes more effort to spin.
smaller wheels are naturally easier to spin than larger wheels of the same weight.
And if you combine a heavier and larger wheel together, it will really affect performance.

To be honest, 20'' wheels are already quite large.
