Are you guys leaving on your CAI when you take it in to the dealer?
Yes, I left my RotoFab on.

Dropped mine off today and yes, I left my Rotofab on and asked for the clamps to be rotated exactly like I have them installed. Also having them checking out a bouncie idle and a suge at 2500 rpms at moderate acceleration. Should get it back Thursday or Friday. Just in time for our annual Camaro/ Mustang car show.

Here is a video of the rattle in my supercharger. Getting it replaced tomorrow. Dealer let me take it home until the new unit came in. Mine has been rattling since I bought it used in February. It's louder now. I bought it fully aware of this problem and was planning on changing the isolator myself until Chevrolet decided to warranty.

Has anyone noticed a minor vibration, almost faint chatter like noise around 800RPM or so after having this done? I had mine replaced and they said they had to lower the subframe 2" to do the replacement and ever since I've heard a very minor noise at about that RPM. Car drives fine otherwise.

I tried to bring it back but they just looked at me like I'm not giving it enough gas when engaging the clutch. Thing is I can hear it even when I'm at that RPM without using the clutch. Seems a bit louder if I'm turning when at that RPM. Plus I never heard it before they did the supercharger change. I think I'm gonna be a little more firm next time I bring it in for a free oil change to have them take care of this.

I just wanted to see if anyone else experienced this or if the dealership I took it to messed something up? Thanks for any input.

Well mine is ready to pickup tomorrow. So I'll see how it is. Have a good hour drive home from dealership.

Documented, that's part of the issue with the solid Isolator, GM references that you may experience this in the TSB.

Exactly. It's entirely normal and described in the SC TSB.

Holy moly!
That looks more like a mechanical malfunction. Good luck!

Mine was diagnosed last weekend by the dealer and a new one placed on order. I was at 19000 miles when I began hearing it.

Mine was replaced today. Only took the dealer about 4 to 5 hours. Not to bad for their first one. It feels like it does run better. Especially on the take off from dead stop. My gas mileage has definitely dropped back to what it was when I first got the car. LOL. Seems like it does get into boost faster. Is there supposed to be any slack at all in the pulley? Mine didn't have a lot, but I could rotate the pulley each way about 1/2 to 3/4 in. Didn't get a chance to check new one before they put belt on to see if it is actually supposed to have a little slack or not. Anyone know if it should?

What should the time difference be between drilling the cowling compared to dropping the cradle to change these.
I do not really want to take the cradle out if I can help it.
The least the dealer has to do the better.
My tech said he would drill the cowling and plug it to do this if I wanted.
Just looking at all options.

I'm kinda worried about my supercharger replacement. Dealer originally told me less then a day. After a full 30 hrs I called to check in on it and they said it was the first one they have performed but there master tech was on it. It's going to be at least another half a day on it they said to make sure it is right. I am at least appreciative that they are taking their time with it. Hopefully find out tomorrow.
