2015 DODGE viper has yet to be released, so its not NOW. And I believe you were the one that threw in viper. Again, nice try...

Ok.....past 3 years, which is about to change and then it will be past tense.... Your previous reply and the Viper currently not being Dodge........YOU might want to do some research before you speak. Just sayin......

The hell kitten kind of sounds like a competitor in a triathlon who didn't win but bragged I was the fastest in the swim!

I've been on this site since 09, and for the most part the Challenger has gotten pretty good props from the the members here. Now that it beats us in HP the claws have come out everywhere. I wonder who the really kitty is here. Talk about looking like a bunch of sore loosers. Hell cat wins for now as far as a high powered street car goes. Don't worry GM and Ford fan boys. It won't be on top for long.

No that is the current ZL1 owners. It all sounds like you have sour grapes to me. We all know the ZL1 is the slow dog in the pack.

I didn't even know there was a challenger until the hell kitty was announced. Sarcasm. If you don't do anything for years people tend to forget about you. I mean even in reviews when the ZL1 and new GT500 came out the challenger was rarely mentioned.

Now your talking, a pack is more than two so you must be talking road racing. What are the hell kitties times there again?

In equal conditions, for more than one lap probably yes. The 2010 ACR turned a lap 7 seconds faster than the ZR1 at Nurburgring, albeit using a professional driver. The ZR1 was marginally faster at Laguna Seca than the ACR but again this was a professional driver vs a factory engineer. I think the normally aspirated viper has less problems with heat buildup in the engine for longer races.
Anyway back to the topic at hand: will GM try to beat the Hellcat acceleration capability with a quicker version of the Camaro. My guess is not. |

Let's look at how these cars are reviewed, most reviews entail three main areas. 0-60 and 1/4 mile, a road course, and drivability, the ZL1 wins two out of three. Usually 2 out of 3 is the winner.
