I was eligible through my credit union and it was over two thousand dollars. In addition, I was able to use the $1000.00 private offer.

What the hell. We used the PO, too, but the GM supplier discount for friends and family saved us literally like $12, according to the man at the dealership. That was 9 months ago though, so too late to worry about it now!!

The Supplier- Employee but not an Employee -Military-Friends-Credit Union discount is around 900 bucks on a 1LS..if your're not getting at least 900 off the sticker , move on.

The difference between Supplier and ACTUAL EMPLOYEE discount is an additional 900 bucks. So a smidge under 2k for an EMPLOYEE or a Qualified Designate.

Or these days,own a Cobalt and cry a lot till you get the employee discount.

Well, patience and persistence paid off. I used google chrome browser. reset it to default settings, made sure I enabled pop ups, and went to the chevy site (for the millionth time in 2 weeks of trying). this morning, on the 17th of the month, it appeared. the glorious $1000 gift from gm. then, i checked my email, and there it was. all ready to download and print.

i went to the chevy site and searched for a white silverado, crew cab, short box, LT Z71 trim, with the convenience package, then, on the summary page I left it for a minute, and it popped up.

thank you TAG UR IT for your advice

and thank you all whom have posted their experiences here as well. this forum is invaluable for enthusiast.

now i am off to read on how to get the best price on a 2014 1LE.

any advice is surely welcome.

I got two today. First one went kaput...

Apparently, if you let it sit for too long on the page, it times out. So...if you are going to get one and it pops up, fill it out immediately. Otherwise, if you are helping someone else, either already have their info or randomly type in a box on the offer...just to reset the timer. You can NOT let it sit there too long. I let it sit there for about an hour.

And I'm working on another. Again, got Matt taken care of today with that second one. Trying for a third!

Currently working with a dealer I've bought from before, tracking down a '14 1LS.

I own a Cobalt, so that is getting me actual Employee EVA pricing. The real deal.
With the 2k rebate and Private Offer, they're knocking off nearly 4700.00 off sticker.
Having a heckuva time zeroing in on a color LOL. Already did Blue Ray, might do Ashen Gray this trip.
