There are quite a few posts about this. I'm lowered 1" on BMR springs and I love it. A little bit firmer and looks way better. As long as you keep it 1.5" or less your mag ride will be okay.

I'm planning on keeping my ZL1 at stock height. I have enough clearance issues as it is.

Thinking about lowering with BMR springs also, wondering what else needs to be done when car is lowered..

Just get an alignment to the BMR specs. That's it.

Here's a couple pictures of a 14 ZL1 lowered on Detroit speed springs; took it down about an inch.

Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Best regards,

Lowered on BMR 1" springs. Love the look. Ride is harsher but I'm coming from a lowered Caddy V so I've become a little soft LOL. Handling has definitely improved.

Do you sell these lowering springs and can you give me a price on them. Also thanks again for hooking me up on my exhaust and headers.

Yes we do! I'll send you a PM shortly as Vendors are not allowed to discuss pricing in technical threads.

Glad we could help you out with the headers and exhaust! I'd like to hear your impressions once you have it all installed.

Best regards,

Tyler

We have installed the BMR 1 inch and Apex 1.25 inch on ZL1s and both turned out great with no clearance issues.
