The Z/28 engine is not detuned, it is a simple case of physics. 505hp in a lightweight corvette does not equal 505hp in a very heavy camaro. It's about a 500lb difference which would take approximately 50hp to overcome.

It only becomes overpriced when the dealers tack on their "market pricing."

Gages can always get lights to shine when something is hot or not operating properly. As with a shift light for a tach, you can get them to shine at any preset time.
