That pretty much sums it up. Nobody's fault but your own (and I know you're not blaming anyone else). And... I'm thinking the 15s will have the same tail lights. Wait for the 16s or get a "new" 13 - there are still quite a few out there.

I didn't like the rear of the 14 at first either. I traded my 11 for a 14 last Oct and the first mod was to paint the rear diffuser body color. Made a big difference.
As for the tail lights…..
A pic says it all...

I'm not a big fan of the paint matched 2014 rear, but it's cool that we have that option.

I had a 1969 SS/RS and the rear lights on my 2014 remind me of the lights on the '69. Gotta black out the rear center light. It doesn't appeal to me. Other than that, I love my '14 in the new optional BRIGHT YELLOW. The bright yellow really stands out.

Speaking of the title of this thread, "unhappy wit my 14", are any if you '14 dudes experiencing slightly higher coolant temperatures due to your smaller radiator grille opening?

When moving, it holds steady at 181F. I've seen it jump up to just over 200F after getting on her real hard and then coming to a stop at a traffic light or something like that. Drops back down to 181F real quick once I get moving again.

Mine in good healthy city driving, after say a solid 1 hour, with short highway bursts (actually took note of this about an hour ago), is at (90C-92C) 194-198F when I come to a red light. It will eventually drop down to 87C- 88C (189-190C) if I drive very gently or just cruise on highway.
