No problem, that's what we are here for!

I installed one back in 2011 and still working great. I'm kicking around the idea of going FI and am hoping I can keep the CAI. Looks promising with the Maggie or Whipple. Any ideas from CAI on the subject?

I bought and installed a CAI from Cold Air Inductions about a month ago. I'm not much of a mechanic by any stretch of the imagination, and I had this thing in in 30 minutes. It looks great, fits perfect and seals well.

Installed the CAI cai about a week and a half ago, could tell an immediate difference. Car feels like it has a little more pep low/mid range, and an awesome growl from under the hood. Easy install. Very happy. Also have the Apex scoop and washer bottle relocate, can't wait to get those installed as well.

installed the CAI intake a few months ago and i love it. immediately noticed gains in torque, hp an throttle response. i also love how this is an air INTAKE and it makes the exhaust sound coming out sound so much deeper and fuller. i have a 2014 LS3 this is the only mod so far so cant wait to see how it sounds with this an a solo performance mach x cat back. i do have one question, unfortunately i did not mark how many miles i had when i installed it and im wondering how we know when its time to replace the filter. i have 14,000 miles on the car now and i think i put somewhere between 6,000 an 10,000 miles on it since i put this intake on. is there a visual way to know when i need to replace the filter? thanks again

You do not replace the filter you just clean it /oil it and you are ready again. I just look at mine and clean it about every 5/10K. It depends on how dusty it is in your area. You can also buy a spare and just rotate them every so many miles.

Take a look at this thread, it should answer all of your questions. More than likely unless your in a very dusty/dirty climate, the filter will not need anything for 20k+ miles.

One more thing everyone should know about the CAI, Inc. intake... It's freaking AWESOME. I especially like the little "Pfssssssst" when you shut the engine off.
