Ducktail!
The front GM spoiler looks good for both the SS and V6, but it needs a rear spoiler large enough to balance the look of the car. The RS stock spoiler is too small. The baldwin pic you showed in a previous post looks good. Check out the attachments, notice the miata's spoiler also stretches over the rear fenders.

can't wait to see it, any chance you are going to do a nicer rear diffuser gfx piece and chin spoiler?

I just subscribed...

Just today I stopped by a "Mr Spoiler" shop in my hometown and the owner balked immediately at my suggestion to custom build a spoiler for the masses, using my car as the prototype. He didn't even listening to my pitch about the potential market etc.

Medic, I think there are no less that 4 bumpers, 3 spoilers, and a few other body kits and different hoods you could fabricate and sell to the 5th Gen market for at least the next three years.

You might want to PM some of the talented designers on this forum with the plan to have an informal contest with some of the designs in the different categories that are voted on through a poll as the "best bets" and then compensate the winning designer, knowing that the product will sell.

I was involved in a similar "contest" with a custom poker chip set and it was a huge success for all involved.

Wish it were easier to find these designers or rendering artists!

They would get some super discounts for sure maybe even FREE!!

Where ya'll at???

Try looking in the Photoshop section on the forum or just keyword search Jinx or Scrappy

That should give you plenty of hits.

The SLP spoiler is much more similar to the 1st gen style, which I like better. A few people have commented on this already, but if you do one like that (which I think you should), extend it past the trunk lid and over the rear fenders just like the old 1st gens were. I'd buy one in a heart beat.
Very cool seeing how that Cherokee hood came to be. I always like seeing pics of how this stuff actually gets made.

Here you go, Medic - made it easy for you.

I photoshopped the rear view of the SLP spoiler to best display how it would look extended onto the quarter panels. Doesn't have to be three pieces - just one piece:

I think it's firmly established by now that this type of spoiler is the one everyone wants. That's a Camaro spoiler! Not as extreme as the dovetail, but not as subtle as the stock spoiler.

That's the ticket! The "wide" version of the SLP rear spoiler and the BB hood would really kick some ass. Of course the whole BB nose would be like a license to print money you'd sell so many of them.

Where do I sign up for this? Make it bolt up as stock and you'll need an armed guard on the way to the bank!

QFT. Plus with that minor change you wouldn't have to worry about copyrights with SLP.

Just out of curiosity, if you copy the BumbleBee hood, do you not stand a chance of getting in trouble for copyright infringement? Or does that hood actually have to be copyrighted? I'm not much educated on how all that works.
