That's true, and I'd considered it, but that was also a cardboard mockup so wasn't totally trustworthy.

I can't wait to see that grille and the GFX (both from the accesories pic) on a production model.

I really like the grill, hopefully it will stay and be used on the coup also.

The lack of badging on the grill is really starting to grow on me, esp on these new vert pics.... for some reason.

The Cadillac front corner design has me going...ahh NO. Plus I just don't see GM spending money on different fascias for different models, unless 3M tape is involved .
Nitpicking aside, it looks great, and I already see a white and orange striped Indy 500 Pace Car Edition being offered .

I like the new bumper, but I don't really like the grill. I think the car looks meaner with a grill that has 3 or 4 horizontal blades going across. I don't like the convertible in that picture, it looks too wierd with the 2 extra seats in that angle.

AMEN to that. I Guess I wasn't looking hard enough earlier but the ones with the horizontal bars look MUCH better. Personally, I think it might be best if it were just left open with the bowtie in the middle, kinda like the new-edge mustangs (like mine). The 03/04 cobra's were ssso bad and this would look similar if it had an open grill w/ bowtie in the middle and the round foglights at the corners (although it won't be quite as fast cuz those 04 cobra's could rip it up somethin' fierce).

I will agree about the cobra's but come on with the new top dog having 500+ hp those cobra's will have some competition. even with the mods done. I'm sure there will be 650+ hp camaros running the streets like there are 03/04 cobras.

The problem with the Z vert is that they combine the awkward shape of the curvy top with a flattened out deck at the rear when you can clearly tell that the design wasn't for a flat trunk at the rear of the body even if you have never seen the coupe. Pretty clumsy lookin. Although, if they don't change the cheasy lookin grill on the camaro in the picture, I dunno, that's one of those lesser of 2 evils things. :seesaw:

A 500 hp one will be able to match an 04 cobra IMO based on the recent speculation of the camaro's curb weight. They need to make it like 3300-3400 lbs. and it will make a big difference. If I can afford a v-8 in the new one I will be looking into things to make it lighter. The problem with that is to lose significant weight you must sacrifice appearance and I wanna make sure my camaro goes fast + attracts plenty of honey's.

That's a biiiiig change. Not for the better, IMO. We'll see.
I like them as we see it. But I think it will look better in person, because it sorta ties into the fog lights, so give it some time...
