Is Camaro5 cool with me sending car pics from the forum to my friends?
I've asked this a long time ago and figured I'd update my list of those who are cool with it and owners who would prefer to keep control of where their pics go. They will be sent out in private emails only to family, friends, and military buddies. I would never post them on any website without permission from the owner.
Please post in this thread if you approve or disapprove of me doing this. It would be a big help and make things much easier for me.

I'm sure that there's going to be some mixed feelings about this. I mean.. I personally wouldn't mind.. actually id say thanks for showing my car off and for spreading the Camaro love. Might be a "to each his own" type situation.

Internet-fair game. If someone is against it they shouldn't be posting pics in the first place. Only exception being something trademarked and you're trying to make money off it.

It's not like you can't see it without signing in. If people had to log in to see things, that would be different, but any Joe can browse these forums anonymously...

I don't mind. Anyone who did not say they want them kept alone can't complain if they're posting them online with no info/ownership stuff

If I post a picture on the internet, or any open forum, it's there for the world to enjoy and distribute any way they want. Like stated above, if I did not want it shared, I would not post it.
If it was for someone specific, I would send it specifically to them, and let them know not to share. Not post it in an open forum and expect "Everyone" to adhere to my wishes. And if I was an owner of a sponsored car, like ARH or JDP, I would love for my picture to be distributed to everyone. Free advertisement! But they may have different feelings than me. |

All I'd say is if a license plate is visible then white out the numbers as a courtesy. If someone is posting a picture on this forum then they better be smart enough to understand how easily accessible it is to anyone with internet access.
