seriously nice looking car with a ton of awesome features. im looking forward to seeing/hearing one in person.

since it seems to me marketed as a serious track car, im wondering how its going to compare to the Z/28.

Two things I thought when I read the release:

FPC engine was a shock. I seriously doubted Ford would do such an expensive engine for a niche car. Add cubic dollars to price.

Magnaride or whatever they call it. Are they paying GM for this or is it a clean sheet design? As far as I knew, GM owned the rights to this and even Ferrari pays GM to use it. If clean sheet, add more cubic dollars.

For the blue oval guys hoping this car would be a Boss replacement, not at this price point. I have said it repeatedly on other sights, I see this car as $70k plus.

If they can find other uses for the FPC engine, it may bring costs down. Most likely would be a Lincoln on the same platform. Worthless in a truck, so there goes that chance to bring the cost down. The suspension should trickle to other cars.

I hope I am wrong again on the price.

Oh, one more thing: If the suspension is GM based, the crap Mustang guys will take from GM fans will be ENDLESS!

Obviously a direct response to the Z/28. The sad thing is, the Z/28 will be out of production when the GT350 comes out. I sure hope GM has some sort of 6th gen. Z/28..

Rang Rover has been using magneride for years now, at least on the Evoque and Ford owns Rang Rover, at least last time I looked into it.

I'm just happy Ford finally put proper size tires on the Mustang it should finally stand a chance of toppling the Camaro on the track, which one will be interesting. Will be able to match the Z28?

That looks a like a bada-- total package, very impressed so far. Can't wait to see the head to head battles.

Considering that Ford had PSS's specifically designed for the GT350...I'd say they're pretty serious about challenging everyone in its segment.

Ford sold Range Rover years ago, along with Jaguar, to the Indian company Tata. The ones that made the [in]famous 'worlds cheapest car', the Nano.

This thing looks awesome, and should be a great performer. It sounds like it will be $65k + though based on the specs so far.
