I have had this kind of issue before. not so much as the ac/heat not working at all but rather not switching from floor to dash vents or it was stuck on full heat only and would not change. This has only happened on a cold day 30 or below. like others I shut the car off and then turned it back on. been working so far.

Today it was my turn, only difference was even with the iginiton off I had a slight grinding sound inside the dash that kept on going. After awhile I opened the passenger side door and closed it and the grinding sound stopped, started the car and everything worked.

It seems like the fix for almost all computer generated problems is to turn off the ignition, take out key then open the door. It's good that we have an instant fix for any or all problems but why with a new (or relatively new) car should we have any issues at all? Everytime we start the car, it requires a second start up for everything to work right. In my case, the fan indicator on the Mylink sometimes is frozen at startup and the Mylink fails to send radio info to the HUD. On second startup it works. This gets annoying not to mention the wear and tear on the ignition apparatus. I don't know what the answer is. It's just very frustrating.

The only time I have this problem is if I touch the dials before MyLink is fully booted up. I had the issue in the summer and sure enough when I turn on the car and move the dials they did not seem to respond. I realized that they would work if they were preset so I purposely turned the fan dials quickly after starting the car sure enough they did not respond. Turned off the car, turned it back on and this time waited until MyLink was fully booted and everything responded. If the dials were already at a setting they kicked in fine.

Seems like if you try to change them while MyLink is booting it won't respond. Just give it time to boot then move the dials if needed and that should stop the issue.

I believe this is a glitch in Mylink. The only thing that needs to fully boot is navigation. Fan speed indicator and HUD radio info should work first time everytime.

I had this issue on Saturday night. I was so pissed. The only way I could get this to work was to unplug the power from the battery and give it a min, then plug it up to reboot the system.

Happened to me today. I turned dial to a speed and display just said "Off" no matter what position. Cleared itself after turning car on and off a bunch of times and pressing buttons until it just started working again. Weird thing was that the circulation section said "Auto" when it started working again. Never seen that, and weird because these cars don't have an "auto" climate control available.

A friend of mine with a 2015 had this happen yesterday. We were at a car show. He got in to leave and no AC, and the controls would not work. He is taking it to the dealer on Monday. But it will probably be working by then. lol

this same issue has happened to me 2 times and ive only had my car not even 2 months yet, as soon as I turn the car off and restart the a/c comes on and works fine. I called dealership and they said there isn't anything they can do because its an intermitten problem, they did tell me I could hook up the tech2 next time it happens where I work and see if there are any codes and if there are codes call them and let them know what they are. also says there are no tsb about this issue.

There is a software update (ECC module) for some vehicles that have "Blower motor and/or indicators are inoperative; Blower motor may be blowing but speed cannot be adjusted; or AC not blowing cold enough air"
Its for 2014 and 2015, Built Before February 10, 2015.
Just mention PIC5965C to the dealer.
It also may or may not set DTC U1510.
