MT doesn't make a 315 tire with a 20" rim?
Post pics of y'all ET Streets. Want to see how they look on our cars. The ET Street ll doesn't really look like they would hook all that well with a smaller slick spot than the NT05R |

Doesn't look like I have any good pics of them on my car. Here's one of a set almost wore out.

MT ET Street II in 305/35/20. Best option IMO and huge contact patch. Nitto is the other choice but less positive reviews. I love my MT's!

Are you running these wheels/tires full time or at the track only? Get the 305/35/20 MT DR. It'll work like a champ.

That's the tire and they hook insanely well.
For a DD tire that might see rain I like the 555R drag radials but you definitely sacrifice traction compared to the MT. |

They only make a 305.... My set of tires that I had still blew away the Nitto's.... And I had the Nitto's heat cycled and they still were horrible.... The goodyears hooked up better than my NT05r's.... Just giving you my experience...

Yes that is my plan, I hope the et streets help hook my 502 Rwhp to the track. I won't be able to leave as hard as you do. Hope to see you out there next summer.

MT Street Pro is by far the best radial tire out there right now. These tires are holding cars up to the 3000hp range. I run them and they hook better than slicks for me.

I'm not talking about 20" slicks. You said they have a huge contact patch, and I was saying that the contact patch(slick spot) doesn't look that big.

That "slick spot" is not the contact patch. The amount of tire in contact with the surface is the contact patch.
That "slick spot" has very little to do with the tires function. |
