Turbo!

I'm not sure if I need to plug off the other two threaded holes in the turbo or not. I'm guessing they are for coolant. There don't seem to be any plugs in the kit, but I hate to just leave them open.

Here's the only pics I was able to get of mine. Hope they might show you something?

Thanks Rich, that does help with the oil return fitting position.

Stas already emailed me with my new canned tune file... on Christmas Eve even! So that's pretty cool. I was impressed.

My turbo coolant ports are left open, no plugs.

Guess I'll just leave them open then. Not sure what to use to seal the oil return flanges to the turbos. No gaskets in the kit. Not even sure if they need a gasket but i might just use some copper rtv on them.

Ummmm. Pay no attention to the mud. These are old pictures, I lived on a dirt road

Lastly, Make sure your hot end inspection flange bolts are tight. maybe add a tiny bit of loctite. I lost one at one point and had to replace it. Skulka222 lost some too.

Yeah i see silicone on that flange so i should be good there. And I'll be retorquing everything after a few miles and recheck every once in awhile. Do you run the skid plate all the time or no?

Yeah, it looks like silicone. I do use the skid plate all the time. I've scraped it a few times on speed bumps. I don't want to rip off one of the oil lines.

I'm lowered 1.25" on pfadt springs and I think the skid plate is just gonna be too low. I'm probably going to have to either just run without it and be careful or raise my car back up.. I love the stance of the car right now though. We'll see when i get it all done.

That's a tough one. I wanted to lower my car until I scraped the skid plate

I need to add a bung in the exhaust for my air fuel gauge. I'm wondering if one place is better than another or can I just put it anywhere I want?

I'd put the stock springs back on. I have till this day the FE3 setup just sitting because of my turbos. You can still run a full suspension setup like me just no lowering.

As for the AFR sniffer, rule is about 12" from the turbo

Remember, this is Oklahoma roads. I think they take the tax money and attempt to make the roads worse.
