Congrats and great job!! I've been thinking about what to do about a new track car and I'm tempted at getting a Z/28 but have also been tossing around the idea of just getting a open wheel car. The one thing that I am worried about with the Camaro's is their weight, not so much with the handling, or acceleration but the braking and the wear and tear on parts because of the additional mass we are throwing around. I would imagine your friend with the Ariel Atom has a cheaper time with maintenance no?
This summer I easily spent $5-6,000 on tires, brakes, fluids and other maintenance, just wondering if getting an open wheel car would be cheaper to maintain. |

Glad to see this all worked out Todd, and I really enjoyed the Ariel Atom video.

If your pockets are deep, Vipers are probably the most reliable track car and wicked fast. The Gen V Viper is also a dream to track, no longer a handful like they used to be. But I dig the open wheel cars too, whatever calls to you. |
