Well ordered my birthday present to myself yesterday, which was my birthday. What did I order do you ask? Well...Kooks 1 7/8" LTs, High Flow Cats x-pipe and Kooks mufflers. Install and dyno tune on 10/14 can not wait. .....mmmmm.....

Had my Kooks LTs, HF cats, x-pipe and racing mufflers installed and the car Dyno tuned today. Wanted to be there for the install and tune so I could get some great pictures but a little muffler mix up from kooks when they shipped moved the date to a day that I worked.
Here are pictures of the last Dyno that they did after installation. It is like driving a different car after the tune. I will get a good video of the great sounds of this complete Kooks set tomorrow. Now it sounds like a Camaro should.
Didn't get the initial Dyno print out. But the hp was at 319rwhp.
Final numbers: 367.68rwhp 383ft-lbs torque. So a gain of 48hp.

How's the sound with the new set up....Kooks mufflers? Did you loose the OEM exhaust tips? I'm waiting for the day hubby says "yes" to headers and a cam!

Just noticed your oil dipstick is a very nice white instead of that dreadful yellow, mine is, which is bugging the heck out of me...lol. Did you paint it yourself...rattle can??? Or did your paint guy do it when you had the other parts painted?

I'm ready to 'take action'!! ha!

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, didn't notice the post.
The sound is great.

It is about 1:15 mins long and runs a bit during the idle but I was getting multiple devices to capture the sound and my phone kept falling over so I was taking a bit of time to get it to set up before I revved the car a couple of times. I think the revs are at about the 50 second mark.

The shop has the OEM tips, they have to cut them off the OEM mufflers then we are going to put them on these mufflers. Didn't have time before my mechanic was going on a cruise to the Bahamas and I wanted it to take to a couple of Cars and Coffees here. He got back today and I talked to him and on my next off rotation I am going over to have them put on.

Yes, I got the full Kooks 3" system, 1-7/8" headers, x-pipe, and their raving mufflers. For some reason their mufflers for cars with the OEM ground effects kits have no tips.

Cam and supercharger may be next falls mods. I don't think the house approval committee will approve any further modifications this year other than the RGB halo install that I am just waiting on the halos to arrive to schedule.

I did paint my oil dipstick. I just plasti-dipped it. I just taped off the actual dipstick then hung it up in the garage and gave it a couple of coats of white and then a couple of coats of the glossifier.

And very sorry to hear about your other car getting hit.

A couple of new pics here. First was taken by one of the photographers the do the photography for Nashville Cars and Coffee in Franklin, TN as we were pulling in on Saturday morning. Then the next 3 are of my newly Blue Ray Metallic painted lettering. Had to get rid of the silver and go with the color match with the stripe. Thanks to member Balok on here for the great idea.

Got your PM; thanks for the info. Your exhaust sounds great! Definitely glad to hear that the OEM tips can be changed over.

I don't think my house approval committee is going to approve anything else this 'legislative' session either....lol. So, I'll just have to go over the chairman's head, straight to the 'big guy' himself....Santa Claus, for the mods that I want. lol!

Okay, so it has been a bit since I updated but the good news is that I did get my RGB Oracle Halos and Diode Dynamics RGB Fog Lamps installed and all wired into a NightOwl Control system. A huge thanks goes out to Joe from NightOwl and all the people at Titan Motoring in Nashville.

I think we would have been the first 2014 with them installed had it not been for a slight problem with a couple of the Halo rings. Oracle got us a couple of new ones sent out quickly though and we did a little insulation work under the LEDs on the boards and got them installed. So I think we were 2nd or 3rd in finishing up this mod.

I have 8 lights(Left Halo, Right Halo, Left Fog, Right Fog, Grille, Strut Tower Brace, Rear Engine Compartment and one in the Cold air box). Each light is individually ran to a channel on a NightOwl SL module. Each of these modules have 4 channels so I have 2 NightOwl SL modules. This allows each light to be controlled individually or in groups or all together.

Here are a couple of videos. First one was done by Joe from NightOwl showing that his system will control Oracles Colorshifting LEDs. The second one my oldest daughter and I made right after getting the car home from the install shop. The picture is how I normally run them. I run the Halos and Fog lights blue. I will do more videos and pictures when the weather is better( it has been raining here for days it seems).
