Best way to ship tires?
What is the cheapest way to ship tires?
Local shipping office wants nearly $400 to ship 4 tires! No way am I paying that. Any ideas? Fedex wanted $250 for 4. |

If you can ship to a business address instead of residence, FedEx will give a slight break on the cost.

If you can use a box it's usually cheaper. 2 in a box is the best and FedEx is by far the cheapest.

How far are you shipping? SpeeDee is freakin CHEAP.
Print a label, tape it around the tire, and send it out the door.

Another low cost option is Greyhound... they ship from one bus station to another.

Depending on the weight of the tires.. if you tape 2 together and they weigh less than 70 pounds it costs less because it becomes one "package" instead of 2. May want to look into this.
